ugly val
Valentine | Furry Artist | 🔞Adult Themes
I'm disabled, so artwork is my sole source of income. Currently it's just a hobby for me but I hope to one day make it my full-time job. There's some important information about me any potential commissionee should know before hiring me:- I suffer from migraines. Drawing for long periods can trigger them if I don't take frequent breaks.
- I have total aphantasia (I can't picture anything in my mind's eye). This means that I rely heavily on references.
- I draw slowly. What would take other artists under an hour of work takes me several.
- I'm red-green colorblind. It's not total colorblindness, but it does impact how I perceive color. All of these things influence how many commissions I can take on at one time, as well as the performance/turnaround time of my work.
What I will draw:
Original characters
Fanart inspired characters (e.g. Pokemon with design changes)
Fantasy gore
All body types
Artistic/non-sexual nudity
Quadruped (four-legged) characters
Alcohol/marijuana use
What I wont draw:
Sex/Fetishism
Human characters
Rainbow/neon characters
Complex backgrounds
What I love to draw:
Gloomy and dark aesthetics
Clothing/shoes (boots/sneakers)
Cat/dog/rabbit/possum/raccoon/mustelid/rodent/fox/wolf/deer/sea slug characters
References
I need ample references, anything you can give me! Examples include:- Moodboard
- Items that your character would interact with/enjoy using
- Stock images of the pose you want
- Reference sheet/art of your character/detailed description of your character (though there will be a surcharge for just a description).
- Images of the species of your character
- Simple/stick figure drawing of what you wantIf you can't provide at least some of these I may turn down the commission.
Process
I'll need a deposit ($10 for icon, $25 for fullbody) before I start drawing. After I finish the sketch and I get the go-ahead, I'll ask for the full amount upfront. If for whatever reason I can't finish your commission, i'll fully refund you.I use PayPal/Venmo to process payments.Turnaround time varies, and I like to discuss it on a case-per-case basis, but it shouldn't ever be more than two months.
